I am delighted to be taking on the role of Principal of Holy Cross College and look forward to building upon the success that Holy Cross has enjoyed over previous years.

 

Our core aims of Excellence in Education, Formation in Faith and Care for All are central to all that we strive for in Holy Cross. Our dedicated team of over 150 teaching and support staff use their expertise and work hard to ensure that all learners have a full and enriching experience.

 

Our all-ability school is fully equipped, with outstanding facilities, to meet the needs of all our students and, together with our excellent staff, this empowers our students to reach their maximum potential in a caring and child-centred learning environment.

The College has a strong tradition in extra-curricular activities that not only develop the skills and qualities of our students but also provide opportunities for new friendships to be formed. During the past school year, we have enjoyed great success with our various sports teams and individuals as well as with our Music, Drama and Artistic activities. School trips made a welcome return to our calendar of events and a full programme of trips and activities is planned for the year ahead.

 

Parents & Guardians play a vital role in encouraging their child to succeed at school by promoting hard work, self-belief and a sense of pride from being a Holy Cross student. I greatly value the support of our parents and guardians and look forward to continuing this partnership in the year ahead.
