HCC Learning Mentor

Mrs Claire Doherty, HCC Learning Mentor in collaboration with Mrs Wendy McGlinchey, Strabane & District Caring services brought together a year 9 class with the 'Stay Young Club' to work on 'The Intergenerational Project'. The ladies brought their knitting skills to HCC to teach the young people how to knit teddies to be donated to Omagh Hospital for sick children and children who have experienced trauma. The 'Trauma Teddies' were handed over to Ann Person and colleague (Nurses from T&F Hospital) today. The six week project has been a delight for Holy Cross College to host and be part of.
